American Chemical Society’s business accelerator for early-stage, chemistry-based startups is hosting a pitch event for investors and corporate partners.

Not just another pitch event
The ACS Entrepreneurial Resources Center is the only business accelerator focused on de-risking very early stage companies in chemistry-related industries. Companies in the ERC benefit from American Chemical Society’s unparalleled scientific expertise, rigorous business advising, and international network of contacts in developing their value proposition and proving their concept.
The accelerator program culminates in business plan presentations to an audience of angel investors, venture capital groups, and corporate partners.

This one day pitch event will showcase 20 high-quality investment opportunities in cutting edge products and services in pharmaceuticals, biotech, energy & cleantech, materials science, consumer products, and more.
Presenting companies have been through the ACS accelerator program, are pre-screened by an expert panel, and coached on their pitch. Each company will make a presentation followed by Q&A, and be available for discussion with interested investors and partners.
At the end of the event, the top presenter will be awarded a $10,000 cash prize, with a $5,000 prize for the runner-up.
About the companies
Companies selected for the ACS Entrepreneurial Resources Center are typically in the seed stage, with less than $500K in private funding, and many are Small Business Innovation Research grant recipients.
