COMPETITION:
MIDA 1.0 This competition is for completely new companies that have never had any press, public demos and whose services are currently in closed alpha or beta. Application Deadline is 10/1.
MIDA 2.0 This competition is for existing companies that are launching new products such as an iPhone app or significant new versions of an existing product. For example, Path 2.0 would qualify as a “significant new version” of an existing project. Application Deadline is 10/1.
MIDA Demo Pit This competition is for existing companies that have already launched. A selection of companies from this group will be chosen by the Money Ball Judges to present on stage. Registration for the demo pit coming soon.
Our Money Ball Judges of seasoned investors and top journalists will observe all of the main-stage action and choose our winners, while our judges will sit on stage and give instant feedback on every demo. Plus we’ll have hundreds of already launched startups in our Demo Pit– those that impress the Money Ball Judges will get to present on stage. The MIDA is creating a Fund to invest $50K to $100K in the winners.
Women In Tech Network is the biggest Women Tech Startup Event in our LA Tech Ecosystem (At some of our events, 50/50 Women/Men ratio. We are an inclusivenetwork and movement with 45% prominent male Advisors). Many of you have experienced our SOLD OUT Standing Room only events.

Women In Tech Network presentations are a special series to assist women co-led companies (Qualification: 1 Female Founder in company or 1 Female on your Board of Directors) along with their founders network and create more visibility for their companies. We are helping build a stronger LA Tech Ecosystem by gathering influential women (and male supporters and co-founders) who can move their businesses forward.
If you haven’t attended, here is what you are in for:
(up to 10 Startups) pre-selected startups present their idea to a female panel consisting of two VC's or Angel Investors and/or two successful startup founders. 5 minutes of QA and 5 to 10 minutes of actionable feedback following each company's pitch session.
